Tattoo Realism...
Some of our artists here at Clin-ink make work jump to life on the skin, creating tattoos with photographic detail and astonishing technique. Realistic tattoos are meant to look as convincing as possible, often featuring natural landscapes, animals or portraits. Realism focuses primarily on transferring a real image onto the skin as accurately as possible, and is less concerned with novelty in the design.

One characteristic that sets realism apart from many traditional styles is the lack of bold outlines; instead, shading and contrasts are prioritised. To draw an accurate representation of something in the natural world, such as a person’s face, is hard enough with a pencil and paper, but to achieve the same effect through tattooing is a major accomplishment. Our artists who have practised this type of tattooing, have trained for years before they were ready to leave a permanent mark on a person’s body, and this dedication alone is respect worthy.

You must be of minimum age 18 to be tattooed.

If you are lucky enough to look under 21, you will need ID.
It is ILLEGAL to tattoo persons under 18 years of age, only scratchers and sub standard “back street” studios tattoo children. Please don’t ask us to tattoo your child.
